OUR STORY

DMD Ag Solutions first began in 2003 when Darren commenced DMD Hydraulics after the local shop that had been providing hoses to the area closed down. He started out as one man and quickly grew a strong business with his understanding of farming and the importance of keeping machinery going as well as good mechanical skills, a strong work ethic and a friendly, helpful nature. 

In 2008, Darren cofounded GPS Solutions Mky with Tony Crowley, after a couple of years of installing and servicing GPS systems. This gave him an opportunity to further develop his understanding of hydraulics and complex systems. 

In 2022, Darren and Maree merged these 2 businesses and opened DMD Ag Solutions. This new business aims to allow Darren to pursue his true passion for agriculture and complex hydraulic systems.

We are a family owned and run business located in North Eton Queensland. We supply guidance, rate control, and ag data software systems using top quality Agleader products as well as Cane planter control systems, implement and level steering solutions.   DMD also supply valves, pumps, motors, hydraulic hose & fittings and can help design and install your hydraulic system. DMD can also troubleshoot those difficult hydraulic/electrical problems.

Darren has been a local in Mackay his whole life.  His family comes from a farming background and Darren has a passion for agriculture.  Darren is a pioneer in the GPS industry in Australia having been involved in the field for over 15years.  He is known in the precision ag industry as a reliable and leading expert in the field.   He also has almost 20 years’ experience in hydraulics and is also sort out for advice in this field.  Darren is passionate about finding solutions for customers in precision ag, controlling and hydraulics that are cost effective using the products he knows he can trust.  His values of integrity, service and excellence means that he provides the highest level of service to his customers and does not give up if there is a problem to solve.
